The Patient ID may be found on the patient's Member ID Card.

What is a person code?
The person code is a unique family member identifier. Some plans use the same insured number for each family member and then attach a person code at the end of the number as a unique identifier for that member.

How was the Compliance Rate calculated?
The Compliance Rate is calculated by dividing the actual days supply by the duration. Actual Days Supply* = (sum of all days supply) - (days supply of last fill) - (overlapped days supply). For example, if there are two drugs before the last fill, each 30 days supply, overlapped for 10 days, the actual days supply will be 50. The Duration = the number of days between the first fill and the last fill (the last fill is used only to determine the end date of the compliance period, but not considered part of the calculation).

*The maximum allowable days between two fills is defined by the plan. If the maximum days between two consecutive fills exceeds the defined (max days between fills), and there are at least two more fills remaining, the compliance rate will be calculated for the remaining days.

**To calculate the Compliance Rate between drugs and the drug name, days supply and quantity must be the same. If the drug name is the same, but the quantity/days supply changes, a new calculation will be started, since this is considered a new therapy.

What do the dots represent on the Compliance Report?
The dots represent a rolling 12 month graphical display of prescription refills. Dots that appear at the beginning of the column were filled early in the month; the middle represents the middle weeks, and a dot at the end of the column represents a prescription that was filled at the end of the month.

Why does the Primary Care Physician field have the entry "not on file"?
A primary care physician will only appear on the report if that information is stored in our files.

Why don't I see all of the medications for my patient?
Access to member information is limited to individual state regulations and the Health Plan's specifications. In some cases you may not see some medications if state regulations or product specifications are in place. Further, medications paid out of pocket may not be reflected in our system.
